OWN DEMO PROJECT · REAL ESTATE WEBSITE, SEO & SPEED
I designed and built Halcyon Realty, a demo website for a modern real estate brokerage in Austin, Texas, using WordPress and free tools. It has 18 pages, including a listings page with filters and a map view, 8 property pages, mortgage and affordability calculators, a home valuation wizard, a neighborhood guide, an interactive 3D home preview and an AI concierge chat. I completed on-page SEO and schema, then measured speed with Google PageSpeed Insights.
Website: realestate.mitaur.com (fictional brokerage, not a real company)
Date: November 2026 · 18 pages, 8 listings
Tools: WordPress block theme with custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Three.js, Leaflet maps, Rank Math, Contact Form 7, LiteSpeed Cache and Google PageSpeed Insights.
THE RESULT
PAGESPEED · MOBILE · HOME
First Contentful Paint 1.1 s and zero blocking time, with large listing photos and an animated design.
ACCESSIBILITY · MOBILE · HOME
Accessibility and Best Practices both scored 100 on the home page.
LAYOUT SHIFT · HOME
The page stays stable while photos and fonts load; the 3D viewer and maps load only when needed.
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Performance | 92 |
| Accessibility | 100 |
| Best Practices | 100 |
| First Contentful Paint | 1.1 s |
| Largest Contentful Paint | 3.1 s |
| Total Blocking Time | 0 ms |
| Cumulative Layout Shift | 0.001 |
The largest hero photo is the main limit on a slow mobile connection, which is why the 3D scene and the maps load only when a visitor reaches them. The demo site is intentionally set to noindex, so it is not meant to appear in Google.
EVIDENCE
The first image shows the speed and SEO results. The second shows the buyer features: listings search with filters and the AI concierge chat. The third shows the finished home page on desktop and mobile.

Speed — November 2026: mobile Performance 92, Accessibility 100, Best Practices 100, layout shift 0.001.
SEO: unique title and meta description on every page, one H1 per page, clean URLs, and RealEstateListing, RealEstateAgent and FAQPage schema.

THE BRIEF
I wanted a premium real estate project to show clients: a brokerage website that feels modern and moves buyers from browsing to booking a tour. It had to work well on phones, stay fast despite large photos and 3D, and make every listing easy to compare.
STEP BY STEP
I planned 18 pages: home, a listings page, 8 property pages, a mortgage calculator, a sell page with a home valuation wizard, neighborhoods, agents, About, Contact, Privacy and Terms. Mega menus for Buy, Sell and Neighborhoods show featured listings with photos.
I chose a deep navy and warm gold palette with glass panels, 3D tilt cards and scroll animations. On phones a bottom bar keeps Search homes and Book a tour one tap away.
The listings page has filters for area, type, price, beds and pool, sorting, and a grid or map view with price pins. Visitors can save favorites, compare up to 3 homes side by side and book an in-person or video tour from any property page. All forms use Contact Form 7.
An interactive Three.js model lets visitors rotate a home, separate the floors and switch between day and dusk lighting. The concierge chat turns plain requests such as “3 bed home with a pool under $1.5M” into matching listings and estimates monthly payments. It is a rule-based demo assistant, not a paid AI service.
With Rank Math I wrote a unique title and meta description for every page. I added RealEstateListing schema to each property page, RealEstateAgent schema for the brokerage and FAQPage schema where pages answer common questions.
I served responsive WebP images, loaded the 3D scene and maps only when needed, and used LiteSpeed Cache to minify CSS and HTML and load fonts asynchronously. The home page scored 92 on mobile, with Accessibility and Best Practices at 100.
